Although I guess I can't be too upset at you.... Since my Toyota is still parked in the driveway and I have yet to touch it in over a month. I went out and picked up a very clean and low mileage ZJ though. I couldn't resist, hell... only 60K on the ticker and got it for a killer deal!

Damn thing still needs about $2000 worth of goodies before it's better looking. 6" Long arm kit, Dana 44's F/R, gears, OX lockers F/R, 33's, bumpers, sliders, bla, bla, bla....

Yeah, I miss the ol' Toyota. The new owner (RXCrawler here on RCC) is taking good care of it for me.... I'll buy it back from him some day. I was just thinking today how sweet the 4.6L/5-speed out of the 'Stang would be in a 'Yota with dual cases!

I have a TBI 4.3L ready to drop into my Toyota. Just have a laundry list of items that still need to be done though....
SAS
Dual cases
Longs
Gears(go from the 4.56's to 5.29's)
Flatbed
etc, etc.... My goal is to be trail ready or just driveable by summer.

It can be done! I think it took me a little less than 3 months to get my Toyota built..... working on it nights and weekends.

The Toyota got me in less trouble..... got a big ol' speeding ticket this morning in the 'Stang.

You'll love the 4.3, I wish I had actually used the tbi though on mine. I kinda ran out of money doing my motor swap and just through a carb on it. Crazy power on the street but carbs suck wheelin.

I actually never had too many issues on my old Toyota with it's carb. It's once you start to mess with them that they cause issues. Stock Toyota carb is the best thing ever. Just reroute the vent tube and call it good.

If I can get my 3.0L back to life under $500 I'll just keep what I have under hood, but I always have the 4.3L as backup.

I can't stand the look of the new FJ's until they get lifted. Yours is awesome! I love the "all business" wheels.

JECKLER - I can see how the Bug would be a distraction for a Bit... But it Turned Out Sweet !!! My Wife has always wanted a Yellow Bug, like the one she owned when she first got her license...

RCBIF - Hope you Are OK from that, Man that looks like a Harsh Impact !!!
