This series spin off is unwatchable. First a Lamorghini beaten in a dirt bull arena? Really? Now 2 Aston Martins beat in more dirt? Come on lets give some respect to the super cars and drive them on surfaces they are intended to be driven on. Lets save the offroading for SUV's and Trucks. |

Can't believe that everyone is bashing a series that is just being kicked off. It always takes a while for shows like this to get going

I think there's way too many people that want the show to fail as an "I told you so!" Also some people aren't smart enough to realize that what you typed is dead on the money.

Chances are those cars are safer in those enviroments than they are out on the roadways with most of the licensed nincompoops.......er....motorists on our roads today.

Though Tanner just does what he wants, evidenced by his illegal driving actions in the Evo...who cares about the lives of others...as long as Tanner gets to drift

it's not as good as the original for sure, but it's not all that bad. even if it's not anywhere near as good as UK TG, i'll watch it just for the fact it's still sort of TG, but atleast it's another "good car" show. give it time it, can't get much worse than it is... can it? |

| Do you seriously think that segment wasn't clipped together There is no way he was just drifting corners like that on an open road. You say some dumb shit sometimes.....

| I love how people bitch about that happening on this show, but Clarkson does it all the time and nobody bitches about that. Another one I got a laugh at was when somebody (might have been on NAXJA) bitched about these guys not using helmets for the Lambo test, yet when have Clarkson or Hammond (who seriously should be wearing one!) never do for that kind of stuff |

Second one was much better, but still... meh. Dog peeing on the stage though was classic! |

i am liking it so far, not as good as the origional, but still enjoyable., second episode was better, but i cant help but feel they could have done better than Rutledge Wood for a host.

Good to me! I've always been a fan of the original but get sick of their clumpy, chumpy, brittish attitudes. My favorite parts though are the silly cross country races they do against each other- priceless This one is still brand new and has to be broken in The hosts don't mesh well but it'll come with time |

just watched the Top Gear: Apocalyptic DVD and it was epicly bad. Even for the UK guys. I'm liking the US version, but hope they start messing better and show more US cars. At least the Aussie version had Holdens on it. |

doubtful there will be more than a handful of US makes, as it is well known we (the US) do make some lack luster cars and that is the majority of what's produced. (i'm trying to put it nicely lol)

I watched it last night, I have to admit I was impressed w/ the Evo, as for the Aston Martin(s), they are nice looking, but I wasnt impressed w/ either for the price. |

Not impressed, the hosts are terrible, and the "skits" lack excitement. I think if they got some good hosts it might be OK, I have no faith in the ability of American TV producers any more though. |

I could see them testing the Challenger, Mustang, Camaro, SVT Focus, Cobalt SS/SC, SVT Raptor, Saleen S7, SSC Ultimate Aero, any of the new Corvette offerings, ect. There's plenty of American's to keep them busy. I would imagine they're also trying to keep away from featuring cars that where recently reviewed in the UK series. Also keep in mind that TG doesn't have the best relationship with Chrysler after the Challenger incident. Overall I liked the second episode more, the Evo film made it IMO.
