Default Weightlifters Diet

So Im about 6'3" 210 and have "yo-yo'd" with lifting the last few years. About 2yrs ago I had the best routine going that I think Ive ever had. Over 4-6mths I saw noticable improvement in advancement & in the mirror. That lasted about a year before I got lazy.

About 2mths ago I joined another gym and started with the same routine but have not been nearly as consistent as I want to be. But thats getting ready to change....

My question is, what are some of the best foods to eat on a regular basis to help with muscle growth? Any suppliments that would aid?? Ive taken creatine & whey years ago but recently found out from a cousin whos studying nutrition (& works at a GNC) that they sell that to anybody & everybody. Basically just a sales thing.

So guys that have, or do, lift regularly give me some tips....

One thing to realize about supplements, is they are just that....a "Supplement" to an already well balanced diet. A good healthy diet by itself, will be a beat a supplemented shitty diet.

Good luck and let us know how it turns out
