| Empact Earth
I know most of you are not that into space. I love it and read about it all the time. Im on space related sites as much as this one. Anyway on one of them I found this little web page that lets you set up a astroid empact using alot of different settings and it give you a read out of all the damage, crator size etc. Its really cool site if your in to this sort of thing. http://www.purdue.edu/impactearth |

Very cool! I had a professor in college that wrote simulation software that allowed him to recreate the S-L 9 impacts on Jupiter with different sized objects...it was neat. Objects large enough would change the entire solar system!

Jupiter is Earths greatest defender becuase its so big the gravitiy it has keeps Earth safe from most astroids. its just a short video to make it look like a empact it dose not change though I agree it should. Its more just to give you the data of the empact. | |
