Default 1:1 Toyota Pickup info needed

Hey all, I am looking to pick up a low to mid 90's 4x4 Toy. I need some info on what to look for or stay away from on these used trucks. I have found several in my price range but don't want to miss anything. I know there are some Toyota Gurus on here so lets here the info

Will be a daily driver for a year or 2 then turned into a trail truck.

I would go with one that has the 22re engine, look for rust on the frame rails around the rear wheel wells, and check for oil leaks around the timing chain area. Other than that nothing really, they will run forever.

The problem with the 22RE isn't so much the timing chain, but the timing chain guides. They are plastic and do break. There are companies that sell metal backed guides so if you have to do a replacement, do a search and don't put the stockers back in.
