Default small rant to blow off steam

Well i don't know about the rest of you but i hate it when you shop around and order a complete kit that you want only to have it show up and not have all the parts. To add to this it was an expensive kit, ( berg setup) from a reputable store. The store was willing to work with me and did send the parts. Now the biggest problem I ordered it in october and it took till december to get here, so of course it would take that much longer to get everything else. I expected a small delay, not quite that long, in shipping since i am on a desolate island. But now not all the parts came and since i am "might" be out of here in another month, the missing parts can't come here and had to go home. So here i sit with a partially assembled crawler that i can't use and just get frustrated and angry since it feels like wasted money just seeing it in parts. I haven't thrown it in the ocean yet, almost but not yet. So before i do i boxed it up and now will have to wait till monday to ship it home. And still won't get to use it for who knows how long.

oh and whoever decided that there needed to be 2 different size 3mm taps, 3x.5 and 3x.6, needs to be kicked in the nuts. maybe even multiple times.

Sometimes you're the windshield, sometimes you're the bug.

Lets see, long shipping times and incomplete product....hmmmm

I can only think of one and would NEVER call it a reputable store. They certainly have a REPUTATION but that doesn't mean the same thing

My XR10 kit was missing one side of the trans case on the front axle when I was putting it together. One call to Axial and they mailed the part out to me the next day! Missing parts happen sometimes, its to be expected. In your case it just sucks because of where you are it looks like.... What part was missing?

Looks to be one of the Berg RTR set-ups. Made up from their inventory of stuff. Chassis, wheels, radio etc...........

So could be an array of things

yup it was an array of things. Part of the shipping is since i am on a ship import, usually it takes 9 to 14 days from the day stamped on the box. But it did take them over 2 weeks to send it as well, even though it stated in stock. I do have a full machine shop, but didn't order taps since we have several kits that say 3-17mm, it was just the wrong 3mm. Also it didn't have enough screws and we don't have anything that small. 6-32 in limited selection is about it. Wheel adapters, screws, servo mount and drag link? I think the piece from the steering servo to the wheels. I should know it its just early here and i haven't woke up fully.
