Default Goin' To Vegas! Need some tips...

Well, looks like my employer is gonna send me to Vegas for some training :?

I'm not much of a gambler except for maybe a little blackjack. And the two guys I'm going with LOVE poker so I may be on my own.

Any locals wanna give me some tips on cool shat to do in the evenings while I'm there (4/10-4/15). It crossed my mind to bring my toys but that's gonna be a sum***** to transport on a plane from AK where I'm sure we're gonna change planes a million times and I really don't want hundreds of dollars worth of junk accidentally re-directed to Abu Dahbi or something.

Any ideas? recommendations?

While you are in your room, turn on one of the tv channels with gaming instructions. Craps is a fun game. The minimum table bets are lower downtown, but you have to take a cab from the strip to get there. There is a pretty good roller coaster in the NY, NY. Good street shows at night at Tresure Island and others. Blue Men Group is cool. You may still be able to get tickets now. The Forum Shops in Ceasars Palace has statues that come to life with laser light show. Helicopter ride over the strip.

Morton's of Chicago Steak House is a couple blocks off the strip. The best steak I've ever had. Expensive, though. The waiter recited the whole menu from memory.

Have a good time. I'm jealous. I didn't get to go this year.

Go check out the Fremont Street Experience. It's free, in the old heart of Vegas, and the light show is pretty cool.

Thanks for the advice... so let's see... strippers, herpes, Morton's, gambling of course and some of the free shows....

I wouldn't mind seeing BMG. They kick ***. I'll look for tickets. I'm surprised none of the local Vegas guys haven't chimed in. I'm hoping to do or see some cool stuff that isn't so tourist-y.

Where the hell is FrankyRizzo????? I know one thing is for sure... my fat *** is hittin' the buffets!!!!
