Hey I searched!!!!

I was just reading about this over on RCShortcourse's Chit Chat section. I was a huge fan of the Papyrus series of NASCAR racing. The cofounder of Papyrus started this up in 2004, so I think I need to check it out. Cool thing is it isn't just NASCAR racing.

Anyone else on there?

I've checked it out before, looks cool. I have a nice sim setup, but I just play on the PS3. Don't have a decent PC.

My old system was pretty taxed for racing, but I recently built up a new one. I'd like to try iracing and IL-2 Sturmovik on it to see how it does.

Damn I really don't want to have to buy a PC just to be able to play this, but this looks makes it sound awesome.

I was totally hooked with the Papyrus series of NASCAR racing, and it's one of the founders that started this. I need to get an account before the half priced intro offer ends.

Time to break out the wheel again "thumbsup"

I was a HUGE sim racer back in the day. Started in '95 or so and did it pretty hardcore 'til a few years ago. Got kinda burned out not long after iRacing came out. Now I'm not sure my 4 year old system is sufficient to play the latest games, but I'd be interested in checking it out again if I had some folks to race with... Team RCC! :ror:

I saw that, and you can give passwords to everyone you let in. Could be fun to do some RCC racing. Might have to dig around for a pc. My wheel, pedals, and shifter are for a PS3, but I think they work on a pc as well, and the chair is comfy.

Is that really your chair?

So I was going to subscribe and take advantage of the new membership half-off pricing. Before I did, I looked into my old Logitech Wingman wheel and found out it will not work on 64 bit Win7

So now I'm in the market for a new wheel...it has to work with PC. What is everyone using? I'm thinking of the Logitech G27, but I'd rather not drop $200....I still have to buy parts for my Super

I'm using the G27 and have no complaints.

You are welcome to come take it for a test drive if you'd like.

I'm afraid if I tried out that seat, I'd be buying more than just a wheel :ror:

Today is the last day for the half off new membership, so I just signed up for a year. I'll be ordering the G27 today too.

EDIT*

Wheel is ordered. When does the RCC league start?

Re: iRacing

My G27 showed up last Friday, but I've had hardly no time to try it

I was able to get some practice in, and even entered two races though. The G27 absolutely kicks ass! I was a bit upset that my old Logitech wheel wouldn't work with Win7 but now I'm totally happy.

iRacing also is a blast. I have a lot of driving to do to get my licenses up, but everything looks and feels fantastic, and the drivers have all been great so far.

Just need to start the RCC League "thumbsup"
