Default 100 sled dogs slaughtered in whistler b.c.

this is some real sick shit..i hope all involved get whats really comeing to them and not just what the law allows, fawking shamefull and really disturbing to any and all animal lovers..dogs were shot multiple times and thrown into a pit..some half dead trying to crawl out, some had thier throats slit..i dont know what to say..all for peoples entertainment during the olympics sled dog rides..im so fawking angry right now..and to boot the 100 dogs were killed in front of 200 other dogs and apparently the pos was attacked by some of the dogs as i guess they are smart enough to figure out whats happening

they need to make animal cruelty that leads to death a capital offense. People who hurt animals or even kill them are just as bad as someone who kills people or beats on defenseless people. I dont even know what would posses someone to do this.

They should get what they gave, eye for an eye.

I say this respectfully, bad post. It should never have happened.

Sad - Really Sad for the dogs sake.

As far as the worker goes, post traumatic stress my ass! He could've called someone right then and there. Not after 2 days of brutal slaughter!
He deserves his post traumatic stress!

I'm just so ****ing discusted and confused. The cops say they thought it was "done in a humane way"? What the **** is humane about killing 100 dogs you "don't need" anymore? I have no doubt there is a lot of people that would have adopted these obviously healthy dogs. On that note, why were they allowed to have so many dogs if they knew they were going to have to "dispose" of them? They aren't a bic razorblade, you can't just "throw them away" And why is this just coming out now, when it happened LAST APRIL? I am discusted to be canadian right now, I thought we were better than this...

There are all kinds of rescue organizations that could have been called to prevent this...

I hope when this guy's time comes up someone treats him just as humainly as he treated these dogs...

i agree with everyone on this post
its is sickening
but one thing that i can figure out, i heard tonight that some animal rights orginazation wants to ban sled dog tours. what for im sure there is lots of other places that dont do this malicious acts. maybe they should just go after the person responsible for this.
just my $0.02

If I ever find the person who did that they will have a Glock 40 bullet lodged in their head. People who do that are horrible. It makes me sick that somebody would do this to a dog. one is bad enough, but 100????

X2.

Everyone associated with that business should have their sack cut off. Doesn't matter if they just stood by and watched, or did it themselves. Just terrible.

F***ck ! That is insane. Despite being a bunch of depraved f**ks, who would run a business like that?
Seems like a few phone calls and a couple of ads on craigslist, and these dogs would have been adopted out by the end of the week.

I dont know if they would or not, but there are so many animal rescue groups available, im sure somebody would have some ideas. Plus a lotta people dig huskies, seems like a popular breed.

Truley, I am not into dog sledding, but I dont see where 300 dogs would ever be needed. Why dont the racers have their own pack of dogs. Then you wouldnt have this over supply of animals that need delt with.

Horible horible tragic thing to do.

I dont know how anyone can kill them. I mean even ax murderers like dogs. This needs to be put on the news, I could see nbc abc cbs going after this piece of S##T who killed them.
