Default Craziest thing you've done in a vehicle

I have rolled a suzuki samurai into a ditch on its side at 40 mph.

Ive done 126 mph on a back road with a honda prelude...later that night the right rear a-arm fell off completely.

Jumped my suzuki samurai over a table top in a moto cross track.

And lastly, went through a mud pit that no body in my area could make it through.

Lets here your stories guys

Got head in my ride in a parking lot parked next to a cop.

Rolled my 85 Toyota into a pond.

Standing up in the back of a cj7 that is upside-down sliding down c470 watching the pavement appear through the hardtop.

Wow, Woa, and

Nice, that gave me a chuckle, so much for keeping this thread "clean"

I knew I should have thought more about the title

I guess doing 145 in my old eclipse on the freeway counts as crazy/stupid as well.

My roommate worked for the Terrible Hurbst on the Truggy chase crew and was driving one of their Pre-runners home from Laughlin after a race, he stopped off at home and said, "want to go for a ride?"

Next thing I know we're sliding sideways in a wash (going 110+) towards a power pole! Roomie didn't warn me that he steered the dam thing w/ the throttle as the front end was always floating over the terrain.

As we approached a fork in wash he threw it sideways and we slid toward that pole for what seemed like forever until he put his foot in it and we snapped back into forward motion! That half hour was the craziest, scariest, and most fun I have ever had in a vehicle!

This was the the truck.

Haha sounds fun I hear that going that fast offroad over woops and such is wayyy more sketchy than on-road speeding.

ridding in my friends dodge colt, that was covered with stickers and had a pair of jeans with shoes sewed to the inside hanging from the trunk all around this old strip pit rally style. jumping over an old rickety bridge going over railroad tracks in my cousins old ford, and just getting into a friends old camaro, that had 1 cylinder gone, leaking breaks and the passenger door did not open, those were the obvious problems.

Lets see, where can I start.

Well when I was in my early twenties I drove my bosses BMW M5 185mph on Hwy 8 in San Diego in the middle of the day with him in the passenger seat.

I was driving my first car (1988, I was 18 ), a '77 Buick Skyhawk out to my buddies house in Jamul (Lawson Valley rd for anyone from SD) which is a very windy 25 to 35mph rd at about 50 when I broke a front tie rod and slid into a 10' builder, better then the alternative 100' ravine.

Jumped my old Ranger pre runner out at Gordens Well doing about 60mph on the canal rd...didn't see it coming.

Same truck at Martinez on the the dirt air strip. Me and two buddies making high speed (85mph +) passes down the strip in the middle of the night, I will not confirm nor deny that alcohol was involved but when I woke up the next morning most of the lugs/tread on my rear tires had been torn off. That could have ended badly!

Good times!

i turned sixteen and got a brand new 2008 work truck gmc sierra work truck edition that had 33" bfg mud tires on it and got it buried that night so deep that minnows were swimming in the cab. had to call my dad to pull me out

did somewhere around 200 mph on a yamaha r1 on I10 in texas. not sure of the real speed last time i looked it was around 185-190 and still climbing. that was the scariest thing i had ever done...prolly the stupidest too. only wearing jeans, a t-shirt and a helmet (like that would have done any good)

jumped a set of railroad track doing about 50 in that same truck and got about 5 ft of air

Thats about it

years of desert racing/prerunning... been a few years since though.

drifting an '89 suburban on 36" TSLs through an intersection on Las Vegas blvd (the strip) and seeing red/blue lights through the cloud of tire smoke. somehow got out of that one.

jumped a '91 Oldsmobile about 40' and 5' high. destroyed the oil pan, hammered/welded it back into shape, drove the car another year.
