Autism Awareness Fundraiser Raffle

Today, it is estimated that one in every 110 children is diagnosed with autism, making it more common than childhood cancer, juvenile diabetes and pediatric AIDS combined. An estimated 1.5 million individuals in the U.S. and tens of millions worldwide are affected by autism. Government statistics suggest the prevalence rate of autism is increasing 10-17 percent annually. There is not established explanation for this increase, although improved diagnosis and environmental influences are two reasons often considered. Studies suggest boys are more likely than girls to develop autism and receive the diagnosis three to four times more frequently. Current estimates are that in the United States alone, one out of 70 boys is diagnosed with autism.

Some of you may know that my daughter Emma was diagnosed with Autism at a very early age and has been going to see specialists all the time. She is now in a special preschool just for Autistic kids. If you are not familiar with autism and the disorder please google it and read up on it. That kid you are calling a brat for having outbursts may not be able to help themselves. This is becoming more prevalent so make sure that if you see any signs in your kids to get them tested as soon as possible to get them on track.

All proceeds from this goes directly to Autism Speaks. go HERE to see all donations. You can also directly donate here if the increment is over $20 and I would prefer it if you did it that way.

1 sticker = $5
5 Stickers = $20 (donate directly on Autism Speaks Page)
15 Stickers = $50 (donate directly on Autism Speaks Page)

(you will get large stickers and small scaler style stickers for each purchases. if you purchase multiples you will get all the larger stickers but only a few smaller scale stickers.)

PM me for the info on where to send payment if you want just 1 ticket..

Weck, my wife has been teaching autistic children for about six years now. She started at a private school and now teaches six children in a public school, with only two aids, here in New Jersey. I wish the best for emma and the rest of your family. I only wish more parents were as proactive unlike a family member of mine who refuses to accept the fact her child is autistic and continues to home school him. Needless to say he is not getting the correct education or guidance. I donated to your autism speaks page directly.

Sincerly Ryan P. and family

Thank you!! There are 7 kids in Emma's school. 2 girls and 5 boys. There is 1 teacher and 2 aids there as well. Home schooling is usually not a good thing in these circumstances and can put the child way behind in everything. Hopefully she realizes that before its way too late. Replied to your PM!!
