This is a site all about stealing ideas... thats why we read through 10 pages of a build thread...

and if its an idea for a new super cool rc vehicle or product of somesort you think your going to make millions from

first patent the idea then start throwing it around to get the feedback your looing for...

wish I had patented my race car bed idea...

I'd say it is going to be pretty hard for you to get what you are looking for.

Which, let me see if I have it straight:

You have some amazing idea.
You don't know how to get this idea to actually work.
You want some help with this idea to make it work, but don't want to give too much away because you don't want this amazing idea stolen.
It deals with "hardware", electronics and remotes.
You've been a member of this forum for about 24 hours.
You want the help done for free.

Well, I'd say that's going to be tough, but I'd even be willing to bet your idea isn't actually innovative or new at all.

You want results? Show some green ($$); you can hire an electronics engineer for your idea, and can include a non-disclosure agreement, and non-compete clause in it as well. But you're starting to talk big bucks.

Good luck with your idea, if it really is something great that the hobby can benefit from, there will probably be plenty of people to buy it.

No tech. Only technical posts stay in the tech sections.

If I can make a suggestion...do a search for similar ideas to what you have, and see if anyone has done it already.

Is that all, see if can get ahold of John of Holmes Hobby in the venders section. He's the smartes person I know with RC electronics. I being serious now, he's the best.

I meant nearly impractical for the engineer who designed it, which would make it completely unworkable for everyone else. At least, not without a weeklong seminar featuring a 1000 page manual and a few flashy powerpoint presentations that highlight its marketability.

Just don't expect a live, hands on demonstration.

I can laugh along with you, 20+ years in facilities/manufacturing maintenance as well as currently 11 years as a field tech I have learned "How to get it done". It is interesting to look at designs and see if the engineer ever worked with their hands or not. The good designs (which includes actually being able to WORK ON IT without a total dismantle) are usually done by current/ex hobby guys/hands on guys.

To the OP, as suggested, do some searching to see if what you are thinking of has already been done.

If it hasn't, then maybe check a local tech college and ask for some help there.

glad it was solved...was about to mention that the CORPs can help with anything as well.......as long as you don't need it now...or even fixed afte you pay them.
