i'm running the tobeecraft 48mm kit on my truck right now, and it's pushing it a bit tooooo wide if you run narrowed, which i don't. plus even at 48mm, it puts a TREMENDOUS STRAIN on your axles, i can't imagine how much strain 64mm w/ savage/maxx wheels and tires!!!

64mm?! That pumpkin would hang up on everything! 32mm is even too wide for my liking. I think I have 24mm right now and that is much better. Narrower and lower/lighter is better than wide and heavy; unless your building a basher.

I have a 16mm kit on my rig and it works fine. Anything wider than 24 would put too much strain on the axles and cause breakage.

I run the 32mm but the wheels my masher 2ks are on only stick it at 10 1/4" wide with my moabs on double narroed pede wheels it is 11". As for the axle breakage alot of it depends on how often and hard you are dropping on any wheel. I roll, wreck, or simply do stupid **** with my 2.2 and have only broken 2 axles on my Jefferson chassis and I have dropped it off of rocks up to 6 feet.

for some reason traxxas front wheels are a very wide rim were it contacts the thread. Its just a trend with the electric wheels.I really dont know what traxxas was thinking when they did that. The RPM claw wheel does the same thing which is a pain, rear wheels have no offset but they nut get enough contact on the threads you could just run wideners that would even things out.
