It won't be produced - it's a one off parts hauler.

I'd really like to see Ute's make a return to the US. as a reasonable alternative to 60k pickups. the M3 and Holdens are sweet but a 15k utility vehicle is desperately needed in the US, one that isn't a micro car or a complete pile O-Sh!t

Ford might be fooling themselvs thinking people are still gunna be buying f150s and shit in a couple years when the price of fuel goes up..

they are stupid to end production of the ranger in favour of whatever POS theyre replacing it with. small pickups will be the next big thing.
small diesel engined pickup id be all over that like flies on shit

You know, when gas prices go up, people will be looking to dump those big vehicles for cheap....that's when folks like me, who dont drive much, will be out there buying them...

I've been hearing "the Ranger is going away!" since 2005. And it keeps coming back, quietly.

The new F-150 actually gets better mileage, but only because the Ranger's engine line-up hasn't had much love. They could get a big mileage boost if they'd add direct injection to the old Pinto engine, or bring in the diesel they sell in Mexico.

I'd be all over a small diesel pickup.
