| The new F350 Hi-Lift ...Lockable diffs! soon to be released!
Here is the latest new "Bruiser" rumor going around, accroding to a rep at tamiya (Joe Anderson) this is a "real" possibility .... http://tamiyaclub.com/CS/forums/thread/160892.aspx http://s8.invisionfree.com/Scale_4x4...showtopic=4865 Apparently after Joe Built this, tamiya took it into consideration.... http://www.tamiyatrucks.com//index.php?showtopic=3562 Personally I dont think its anything great, its got plastic everything and will probably have tlt axles and itll cost a hell of alot more then a tlt kit...Id buy one just because BUT In seriousness you could seriosly buy a bruiser frame, Juggernaut body, and a tlt kit and do the same thing Mike Last edited by 1BadJeepBruiser; 04-18-2006 at 08:16 AM. |

I'd be on that like stink on poop. Those don't look like TLT axles at all. Almost Robbe-esq. |

The text says full time 4WD and a slipper clutch 3 speed tranny. That would mean that the tranny is probably not a Bruiser (1st is 2WD) or a King Hauler (no slipper clutch, and it's 2WD). Rounded off rear axle housing also. Add all that up, and it would mean a brand-new tranny and diff housing from Tamiya. What are the chances of that??? Not good. We all know how heavily everything from Tamiya borrows mechanicals from other Tamiya RCs. A single new Tamiya RC that has a bunch of new mechanical stuff???? If that is the case, then they must have future plans for borrowing the running gear for other future releases. |

EDIT... Joe Anderson says he will be giving an update in the next 24 hours...lets see what happens then Mike Last edited by 1BadJeepBruiser; 04-17-2006 at 03:41 PM. |
