| can I afford NOT to buy this? ax-10
Hey. I just got a crawler for bashing, and upgraded it to my likeing. this guys got an AX-10 completly stock axial but ready to run for $200 in my town. including battery and a wall charger, axial elecs and tx, and spare parts. he's the second owner. This seams like a smokin deal to me, cuz I was shopping a month ago, but just bought. I really can't afford a second crawler, but is this a sweet deal? should I just do it then pick which one I like best and sell for some extra cash? |

Seems ok, you can get a brand new AX10 RTC package for ~$250 shipped and that comes with the new AE-2 ESC and 2.4GHZ radio. So in my opinion it comes down to the batteries and charger as well as which model ESC it comes with (AE-1 or AE-2) and the radio (AM or 2.4ghz). Also I would make sure it's been properly maintained considering it's bone stock and on it's 2nd owner. Please keep in mind this is just my opinion.

cool thanks. I just hadn't seen many used ones for sale. it's the AE-1 esc. If I hadn't allready got a crawler, I would have been all over this. I haven't seen anything around here for under $300 |

if you are in the market for another crawler be sure to keep an eye on the classifieds you should be able to get an AX10 with a few upgrades for well under $300 if you keep your eyes open. Also you would probably be better off getting a good deal on a set of axles and a transmission and building from scratch, if you are a little bit hand you can easily fab a lot of your own parts (links, link plates, etc) with basic hand tools.
