the job search websites are OK, but, just becareful, cause a lot of those jobs are temp jobs, or temp agencies placing "feeler" ads...

I have been doing customer service for a Blueshield tpa, for the last three years and I kind want to stay in this type of work. I wanna look for something in the Davis-Sacramento area. I want to find something that at least pays 11.75 an hour.

I used career builder, and monster about 5 years ago and I had about 5-8 good job leads in less than 30 days. And had 2 job offers in less than 45 days. This was in civil construction before the market crashed but they do get your resume out there to lots of people. I think they both allow you to be fairly specific about the area, and career field so you can weed out the garbage
Good Luck
