Default Post pics of your track bikes

Man, I miss my bike so bad. I know it was never the fastest bike, but it was loud and mean...and it had soul. Long live the V-twin!

Anyway, before I moved to China in 2007, I sold my RC51 for nearly nothing...and have been kicking myself ever since. So, here are some pics.

I was just prepping it for a couple Thunderhill track days.

And here is my gorilla ass riding it. Stupid rookie...get your head down.

I love those RC51's,they sound like nothing else.I always wanted one but the riding position is just brutal for street use.

Is it just me or is the front tire on backwards?

Yeah, getcho head down foo.
I wonder if they'll ever come up with an "up right" sport bike (like they did for bicycles) for those of us with plated necks and F'd up backs? I'd be in and thank'n them for the chance.

The front tire is mounted correctly.Since most of the braking force is applied to the front tire the tread runs in the opposite direction of the rear.I have a 04 CBR 600 f4i that I may sell because of a bone spur in my neck. The crunched riding position really aggravates it.I even put a set of Helibars(bar risers) on it but after an hour or two I'm in pain.Kinda sucks because the bike runs so good, pipe, power commander,K+N and a Dyno tune. The bike has incredible throttle response and is pretty quick for a 600.Not sure what my next bike will be but I know it has to be comfortable enough for long rides.

It is brutal if you have short arms... I have long arms, so the riding position for the street (for me) was brilliant. I would buy another one in a heart beat.

Front tire is correct in the pics. And, if you want an upright sport bike, FZR1000....good bike too.

I wanted a rc51 for sooo long. Never could find a good deal on one. No one was ever getting rid of them around where I used to live. So I ended up buying one of these (CBR 954RR). I loved the color and holy hell, it propelled this fat ass to some serious speeds in a very short amount of time..LOL

Why not? You can't beat it for transportation And fixed gear bikes just look so simple and clean.
