My analysis is this: GSP and Shields both have great ground games; GSP with wrestling and Shields with AJJ. I would say that is a push on the ground. Stand-up definitely goes to GSP. Shields's standup looks horrendous. I say GSP keeps it standing and jabs his way to the decision win.

This is going to be a good fight, I'm pretty sure GSP will take it though8)

GSP. He'll just push the pace and get Jake to gas. I think GSP will toy with him the first 3 rounds, then just take him down and lay on him. his BJJ is underrated and good enough to defend a gassed out Shields.

The fun fight will be Jose Aldo putting foot to ass and/or face.

Not sure which way to lean with the geezer, err i mean the Natural, and Lyoto. I think Lyoto recovers from his beatdon by shogun and retires Randy.

Thats a bad way to go out for Randy! GSP/Shiled's fight was a snoozer, way too much respect from both. At no moment they seemed with any intentions of ending the fight early. Aldo put a hurt on that kid!

like i said ALDO VS HOMINICK would be better then the main event.

we were cringing big time watching the aldo fight..i think homminick was doing pretty good in the 3rd,,surprised they let it go on
the gsp fight wasnt too exciting but gsp had controll on the few takedown attempts by shields so i dont think the outcome would of been much different had shields tryed more of a ground game
couture fight i just missed but i figured he would lose..with all due respect to him he past his prime some time ago

I wouldn't call those "takedown attempts" by sheilds. He only tried going for them when he caught a leg kick by GSP.
