Awesome, looks like a good bike. I picked up a 426 at the end of last summer, now haven't riden it since february, sucks being so busy.

The 400 doesn't have the hot start lever right?

Looks like a nice bike for $900. I need to get me another bike, All I have right now is my Banshee and my two CRF 50's

Ohhh and I believe if you take a heat gun or hair dryer to the white spots in the plastic it will make them blue again, I read it in a magazine a while back.

Yes, the heat gun trick works, just watch holding it in one spot to long. I've fixed several sets of Yahama blue plastic with the trick.

I think the hot start is on the carb. Its like alittle plug or something.

Pretty sure Dr D has a kit to make it a lever on the bar though

I see you from Eugene, that is Eugene, Oregon Correct? If so, Do you make it out to the dunes like Coos Bay, Winchester, Florence or Sand Lake??

I know that either the 400 or the 426 comes with the hot start on the bars, I just dont remember which one but If I remember right it was the 426 cause it was kind of a perk when the 426 came out.

Okay then the hot start is on the carb and the one on the handle bar is the compression release.

BFG is right, at least that's how it is on my 426.

Lever next to the clutch is compression release, red knob on carb is hot start, black knob on carb is choke.

Your talking about having them adjusted? If they need to be adjusted it will make it a bitch to start, you will know if they need to be adjusted.

LMAO.....I only laugh because I've done it many times and I have been riding almost all my life

Yeah I wouldnt take it in unless it becomes a pain the ass to start both when cold and after being warmed up. Or get yourself a manual and learn how to do it yourself, it's really not that tough.
