Default Revenue From YouTube?

I recently received an e-mail from YouTube in regards to signing up for having ads shown with my videos. Before I just erase the email I was wondering if anybody here does this and if it's worth it? It would be nice to have it become an income stream, but I'd like some independent info first

I should add that all but 2 videos are RC related and the other two are go-pro videos just driving my XJ on local roads

Thanks!

I am part of the Adsense program on YouTube. I have made over $800 so far. I use it to pay for my hobby. It takes a while to get going but over time it snowballs.

Here is my YouTube channel. http://www.youtube.com/user/jjlove1217?feature=mhee I have over 100 subscribers and it grows every month.

Keep making cool videos and the views will follow.

I've been a part of that program for over a year and haven't made squat , even with 300+ subscribers. You only get money if people are actually clicking on the ads and buying stuff from the links. I personally don't think it's worth it. But if you can be like jjlove from above - go for it!

Damn JJlove - I just checked out your channel, can't believe that many people are into the slot cars Congrats on so many hits, 737,277!!

Make money off of Youtube videos?? Now there's an idea

Just think if you were able to direct traffic from RCC to your YouTube videos...you might make some coin by "sparking" interest in your videos

Of course it would only be right to support RCC if you were making money by doing this.

hello?....is this thing on?

Here's my channel on YouTube, I guess I have several thousand hits on my E-Revo videos now that I look at the counts for them

I'm suddenly thinking about adding the word Gymkhana to my Blizzard Rat 1 & 2 videos now too

I'd love to, but I don't have a PayPal account...or the interest in getting one, if I could pay by check or cashiers check though

Do it. I signed up a year ago, and get a check for a hundred bucks once in a while.

It is all about the views. I still get paid if no one clicks on a commercial . I get paid more if someone does click on a commercial though. I use my Facebook and all the forums that I go to, to help get traffic to my page. Like this...

When you see the commercial pop up.... I hear cha ching.

Lol. Yup. But at least the commercials on my videos are just a pop up at the bottom. You can just X out and close it. It is not a "fake" X that sends you to pop up hell.

Well, I started signing up a few days ago but had problems and finished tonight, looks like there are already some ads on a couple videos too!

Here is a video that I made from the 2008 RCC Nationals Moab event. I have received $100 so far for it.
