While I don't care for the style, I can appreciate all the time that went into that rig. I've only built one exo, and am in the middle of a 2nd, and have many hours in each. I can't imagine how long that took to build. Maybe the dope makes it go faster. I don't even drink beer then bend 'n weld.

I dont have anything bad to say about the rigs that are being built(I can appreciate the time and talent that goes into building them), my only complaint is the style of wheeling they do. I understand the need for the wheelspeed needed to get over the obstacles that are back east, BUT, it looks like they tear up a lot of ground doing so. This just gives the activists even more ammunition against all of us that wheel(giving us a bad name). Not wanting to start a war here, like I said I can understand why its needed, and don't want to try and take away from anyone that wants to go out wheeling. We just have to be careful how we go about it. |

Impressive parts list. The tube work on this style of buggy never has appealed to me, pretty ugly IMO. I don't get the whole "rock bouncing" thing either. I'm sure it's a rush and quick reaction time plays a part in it. Looks like it's good for getting attention out of the crowds for sure. I bet tree huggers LOVE watching those video's. |

The thing must be a tank with all that tubing everywhere and how the hell you supposed to see out the front, looks like he's gonna have a hell of a kink in his neck after a day on the trail with his head off to the side like that to see where he's going. |

I could probably become a You Tube star trying to get my Broke Back Krakker a$$ into that thing. (seriously, my back is broke) Guy must be into Yoga or something. Just goes to show, if a hundred people with internet access think you're cool, half the country will fall right inline with them. Last edited by Krakker; 08-17-2011 at 03:19 PM. |

I actually like it When you look at the pictures on the Pirate site I was like.....ummmm, not really. But looking at it in the videos it doesn't look as busy as the pictures do. I'm sure we will get some great videos out of it over the next year |

I like it if you're looking at a straight side profile. Other than that I'd like it for a parts donor..

I think it's bad ass, it's not some cookie cutter TJ buggy that everybody and their grandma has (yes, I personally own a TJ tube buggy though). The driving style is way more fun, I hate just walking up stuff, it's so boring and not entertaining for people to watch either. As for tearing up the land, these guys are all on private property, so they can do what ever the hell they want as the same I would do if it was my land. If it was public that would be a different case and that would not be good for any of the off road community, but it's not!
