|  rc crawl simulator
been poking around online looking for a rock crawling simulator. not for practice when I go out with my rig. Just something to pass up time once in a while. I saw one on a site a while back and saw some youtube videos, but never could find out where to get the progarm. Any of you use this or have seen it before? |

I haven't seen anything but it sounds awesome! It would be really cool to incorporate a build part to the sim!

That sounded cool so I did a quick search and came up with this. The game is supposed to be called 1nsane by codemasters released in 2000. Not sure if the free trial below is the full game or a web version. My video card is dying so I'll have to check it out later. Rigs of rods is pretty awesome! Get all the updates, landscapes and cars and you can rally, tow, hardcore rock crawl, baja, etc., etc! It is all free, just have to get it: http://www.rigsofrods.com/content/? I haven't downloaded anything in about 6 months but I think they are including most of the good landscapes and rock crawlers in the new version. |

Wanna know something cooler...you can plug in a gt3b and use it to play these games...I have played motorm4x with my gt3b. Havn't downloaded 1sane yet though. I'm sure it has a analog/joystick option for your controller

i can run motorm4x fine with my gt3b but in 1nsane you can only steer left everything else is fine tho Quote:

Motorm4x is pretty cool but got tired of it real fast. Just dowloaded rigs of rodz but its to damn slow!!! None of the terrain im driving on looks like the pics i see quality wise. not really happy with it.  Just found out it doesnt really work too good on laptops only desktops. Got the same error on startup. It's a DirectX error. Install the latest version for your OS and it should work.

Hi guys ...i just wanted to add that there is another Rock Crawler sim out there...but its in Russian, it can be translated a little in its config file...i know cos i done it and still play it, its called OFF-ROAD 3 or Full Drive 3: polnyj‑privod 3 I have all of these installed together working all cars on every map(full world map) = Full drive 2 in russian = Полный привод 2 - UAZ Full drive 2: HUMMER. Extreme Edition Full drive 2. Siberian call = in russian = Полный Привод 2 - Сибирский призыв or Полный привод 2 -Sibirskij priziw All mine are in Russian with a txt.scr file in English Seperate to those above is Full Drive 3 = polnyj‑privod 3 (Wrangler/CJ7 tuber/LandRover Defender D90 and some others too..cars are already tuned though) I been playing them for years, they are the best i played ...adventure/trails/rock crawling sim, half arcade...but believe me there possibly the best out there so far with external tuning too...heres some pics of Full Drive 3..   And heres Full Drive 2..this has external tuning that you must unlock and buy after a hard offroad session   So there you have do a search for those titles and give em a try...hope this helps... RoR is cool but boring ..these Russian games i can play them all day long...if you get Full Drive 2 then download the Siberian add on, the map graphix are awesome and so is the almost true to life rock crawling..trust me on this...good luck |
