Default Thanks to Futaba and Steve from Hobby Services

I would like to give out a big thank you to Steve Kleiboeker at futabas hobby services.
I had purchased a new radio from FAST TRACK HOBBIES in Rocklin CA and the unit was defective out of the box.Not fast tracks fault and it was a new unit. I followed the instructions and contacted Hobbie Services, the unit was replaced and came back to me with a new issue, I called back and explained the issue and I was then sent to Steve. He listened to my problem and agreed to send out a new updated replacement, Great ! I thought, well somehow it arived with a minor boxing issue , no problem with the radio just a piece or two missing. I again called back and spoke with Steve. He reviewed the process and just to make sure I did not encure any additional issues he has sent out a complete new unit from new stock. I would like to publicly thank him and let everyone know that Futaba and Hobby Servies stepped up and took care of me in a very reasonable manner, In the end I think that he went over and above for his role as a customer service agent for Futaba.

Thank You
Robin J. Chambers

Sounds like good customer service BUT...2 defective radios in a row and then a boxing issue...so how long did it take to finally get a working radio?

To be honest I did have to push the buttons a few times, BUT I did start off with a 4pk, NOT THE SUPER , That was bad out of the box and then I sent it in and when I got it back the box was not the same box that I had sent in and was quite beat up, during the process I was able to get them to upgrade me to the 4pkS model . When that came in it was with a older reciever and looked like it had been already in the hands of someone else. i now have a brand new 4pks in box from the warhouse 2nd day delivery, due here on monday, and I will keep the extra reciever as well. Over all it did take more of a effort than it should have but in the end and after I talked to a manager things were taken care of . I bought it on Aug 8th , the new unit as per UPS is due on monday Sept 19th. I wolud have bitched much louder and not been so nice but Steve was good to work with and I ened up with the newer radio.
