He "saved it" and then it inexplicably did this? Looked to me like he didn't actually save it at all.

That was a tarmac rally, here in Newfoundland a few weeks ago. The guy driving owns an exotic car dealership. his "team" showed up with a Murcielago, Saleen S7, and a Maserati C12.

Sick footage, I'll bet Ferrari wasn't impressed, I heard they won't sell you a Enzo if you aren't a multiple time customer.

If it was a Lambo it would have been on fire.

Silly. The Murcielago had a bit of a spontaneous fire issue...even had a recall on them.

Quote:
We have already seen a record number of car recalls in 2010, but none as exotic as this, it seems that there is a recall on the 2007 and 2008 Lamborghini Murciélago. 428 of these vehicles have a potential fuel leak problem, which in turn could cause a fire.

According to Chris Shunk from Autoblog, the Italian automaker along with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) have issued the recall due to a problem with the wields that hold the fuel tanks support inside. If these wields fail then the tank could fall away and separate itself from the vehicle – something that could be very dangerous.
