Do any of you guys have Caniks? I fondled a Canik TP9SF at Gander Mountain two weekends ago and the trigger has me sold. I'm leaning towards the TP9SF Elite or the TP9DA. There's also an outside chance I'd go with the TP9SFx.

It took a long to find this at a decent price in Cali.
FNH FNX-45 Tactical .45 acp.
And it shoots incredibly well.

Congrats, I've drooled over those for a LONG time. Should have bought one when they were under a grand.

That's just crazy! I can get one here (minus optical sight) for about $1150.

Two new Rugers a week ago. Ruger .44 Mag Super Blackhawk that I already installed a wolff spring kit in and a Belt Mountain locking base pin. And a Ruger american in .223. Points to anybody who notices whats different about the American.

No it ejects normal. But you see, I didn't have to wait 10 days to walk out of the gun store with these like you would have. It only took 30 mins. And I bought a couple 40 round Pmags while I was there. Dont dish it out if you cant handle it. Its my freedom by not living in a communist state.

Default Attack of the Clones!

My latest obsession has been CZ pistols.

Picked up a nice CZ75B off of GB and fell in love!

So much so I sent to off to have it refininished, have some trigger work done and have night sights installed.

In the meantime, while I wait on it to come back, I picked up a couple of CZ clones to add to my collection.

The Gen 2 Sarsilmaz CM9 is a Turkish "clone "of CZ's polymer P-07 and I picked up a Canik P-100 which is a "clone" of the CZ P-01 also made in Turkey.

The overall quality, machining, and finish on these pistols is nothing short of amazing and the factory triggers are right up there with Sig IMO.

The best part is they are EXTREMELY affordable. I have $750.00 in both of these pistols!

I say clone of the CZs, but a better term might be CZ variant as in actuality they are Tanfoglio brother's designs that the Tanfoglio's "borrowed" from CZ.

Anyways, here are a couple of pics.

Damn Photobucket! Sorry working on replacing pics.

Finally got a 1911. Another Turkish import. Hopefully it runs as good as my Canik has.

With 3 mags, extra grips and the kit I couldn't pass it up for $330 marked down from $500.

Here's my new Canik TP9SF Elite. I can't wait to shoot this thing. I've read lots about the trigger and then I had a chance to fondle one at Gander Mountain. The trigger is ridiculously awesome! I think the trigger might be a little light for a carry gun though.

That's a beauty, is it a Tisas?

I've bought several Turkish made firearms. All have been very well made.

Being a NATO member, their armories all have to meet ISO 9000 regulations.

I've bought from Canik (Pronounced Janik), are well as Sarsilmaz.

Striker fired as well as DA/SA pistols. I've yet to be disappointed.

Thank you! I agree that it's a pretty gun. It's a Canik not Tisas.

I see you're a CZ fan. Canik makes CZ clones. They caught my eye, but I haven't pulled the trigger on one. Do you have any experience with them?

The new Canik burnt bronze DA/SA is beautiful. I saw one at Cabela's of all places.

I was commenting on Ranovru's 1911 post right before your post.

I should have used the "quote" feature to avoid confusion. My bad.

Your TP9SF is sweet, I have a Gen 1 Canik TP9 which I love.

If you check out my post right before Ranovru's post, you will see my Canik P-100 which is a CZ75 P-01 "clone".

So far I'm very impressed.

But like most people, I like to modify things. I've ordered a sprint kit and CZ85 trigger from Cajon Gun Works as well as some fiber optic sights.

It's a Girsan imported by Zenith.

From what I understand they're similar to the Tisas.
