Hahaha. Hell ya man. There a little over a $1000. So a little out of my price range for now. But down the road. Can't wait to pretend to be Arnold while I'm shooting it.

Haha. Ya I love that knife. I use it for almost everything from fishing to cutting down trees. Ive attempted to learn to throw it. I landed a few nice throws but I never have the down time a marine would have. I think this is probly up there with the greatest knifes ever made. Very very durable. I've cut down countless trees with it.

We had the ones with the rubber grip and the bayonet attachment.. Truly is an amazing knife... When they first issued them to us you could seriously shave with it... Then we got a hold of it lol... Of it was my knife to keep I would have taken better care of it but by the time we turned it in you probably couldn't cut a warm stick of butter with it lol Here are a few of my personal knives the one to the right is a Ka-Bar too... The blade is 1/8 of an inch thick lol

I'm suprised they made you turn them back in. I would think they would at least let you keep a knife. It's not like they have a shortage of them. Mine was sharp enough to shave with when I bought it but thats what happens when you use it, ya know. It can still get a really nice blade if sharpened properly though.

A BUCK 119 and a BUCK 652. The 119 your classic hunting/skinning knife.
The 652 is a 1/4 inch thick, its my cut seatbelt/bust window knife, if you cant pry with it you'll probably die with it...

This is my first 1911, now I'm thinking of trading my Taurus in on another one

I have yet to fire hollow points through it but I seams to feed Cor-Bons fine just cycling a few through. I did polish up the feed ramp a bit, guess I need to buy a box and run 'em through. Since I bought it, I'm guessing I fired about 800 rounds through it and each mag ended with a big stupid grin on my face

Also, its black, don't know why it comes out green in the pic.

It never completely left.

It is in the hands of many, you just have to look at the right hands.

And the guys in the military who do carry it are not standard military... They are to the point where they are OFP and carry what ever the he11 they want... I mean standard issue is the m9 that is the biggest POS. If it comes down to the point where i have to pull my pistol to defend myself I want something with some f'n stopping power not some $hi++y 9mm that doesn't shoot worth a damn.. The 1911 has proven itself time after time after time... The reason for going to the m9 was larger capacity and cheaper rounds... Im sorry but i don't need a pea shooter that can hold 500 peas... Im a damn good shot and all i need is one fat piece of lead to put in the center of a chest... Just my 2¢ lol
