I'm not a 9 hater but yes if your down to your sidearm in combat situation it better have some KNOCKDOWN. 9 gets bad rap in civilian world cause most police department are required to use sub-sonic frangible ammo. Dont get me wrong if I relied on 1 sidearm it would be a .45acp.

The 9 vs 45 arguement has been raging since the beginning of time. They both suck. There, ya happy? ![]() I personally don't have a problem with carrying a 9mm though... 124gr +p Gold Dots that I carry will penetrate better than any .45acp and my pistol holds 19+1 and is lighter than my 1911 by at least half. Hard to argue with that. |

No pics yet, I just returned home w/ a new Henery .22 lever action. I wanted a plinker, the SKS was getting too expensive for that purpose. It was a toss up between a Ruger 10-22 or the Henery, for some reason I just liked the lever action better. It seemed more 'fitting' for a plinker.

Lever actions are just cool, excellent choice, in my opinion, for plinker. ![]() |

Here's a few pics. I still have to clean the bore before I can load the tubular magazine, I'll try to shoot it next weekend. ![]() ![]() the fit and finish look good, the rifle has a nice balanced feel to it. The lever action feels smooth, I'm excited to shoot it. There was a few boxes of this ammo left so I had to snag another one, just in case... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
