RC4WD's Pricing

hey i was wondering if rc4wd based their prices off 1:1 scale and just dividing by 10:lmao:but really i think it might be the case because i was just comparing prices like t cases, transmissions and shocks in trail gear. also the toytas are 600 dollars and most real yota rigs are around the 6 grand range.

I've found that, in general, their products are very high quality and worth every penny. You'll find very few plastic parts coming out of RC4WD.

Ya I think their prices are pretty fair and you generally get a good product. They hit the nail on the head with the XR gears, it is hard to beat a gearset that costs $40 and is pretty much bulletproof.

Why is this posted in the Tech section? That's my question.

steelbed 10-12-2011 11:34 PM

Actually its under the heading "General Tech" so this should be moved to either Chit Chat or the RC4WD vendor section.

That's not attitude...that's just Duuuuuuuude. I'll translate for you:

"If you don't buy it, someone else will...have a great day" "thumbsup"

I like their stuff, but the $20/set increase they made last month on a bunch of their beadlocks really put a crimp in my wheel purchase plans. I wish there was more competition for scale parts.

2500hdon37s 10-14-2011 09:23 PM

IMO their stuff is great but at the same time I feel it can a be a tiny bit over priced with the larger items and tires are a tad much at $30 a set.

xtreme4x2 10-14-2011 09:36 PM

I bought stuff from that website

The media. The National Guard won't do anything for me. At least the media can spread the word.
