I am surprised that I haven't seen anyone talk about this show yet! Well, maybe my search didn't work, we all know how awesome the search engine is on any board. Anyway, are there any other fans of this show on RCC? The 2nd season premiere was fantastic and gory, of course. There were some really great moments in the premiere and the cliff hanger ending caused me and the wife to gasp out loud. Wow, what a series! |

The first series was sweet. This second one has taken a turn for the gore fans for sure. Full on eyeball stab shown on tv but I can't see boobies???? Anyways, AMC cut the budget and fired the head honcho behind the show, so I really hope it turns out well this season.

I think they changed the rules. Could the zombies run last season? They seem smarter too. I think the dude that cut his arm open should've been eaten. Why didn't they ditch the pos camper? I can'tbelieve they let the loudest bike ever to lead the way, a new enduro would be a much better choice. and you're right, the ending was really unexpected! |

I watched the last few episodes last season, it was ok. I'll probably watch the new ones On Demand some time.

Yep, I do remember reading that and was a bit worried that the quality would suffer. The premiere episode was apparently the last Darabont episode. Hopefully the rest of the season stays sharp. How 'bout the gutting of the zombie? Also, the premiere was the highest rated basic cable program ever! TWD is AMC most successful series (viewer rating wise), even moreso than Mad Men and Breaking Bad. |

The series is pretty good stuff, my only gripe is they have massively strayed from the comics......which is a much deeper story with a lot more twists and screwed up stuff. If you really like zombies, go buy the graphic novels and enjoy... Later EddieO |

I actually like that they have strayed from the comic, the writer said that he liked the flexability to go in a different direction and explore the settings and the characters more. It is a well written and produces series. My issue is the spread if the contagion to living things is it only through a bite? I thought it would be all fluids. I would not be gutting a zombie wearing gloves and possibly nick myself. Just me over thinking things as usual. Has anyone read World War Z? It is a great zombie novel.

Definitely a good series, even if it is about zombies. I love that it is set around the ATL area, that is the part of the country I grew up around. I just can't watch them late at night because I dream about whatever I think about and watch. Great for engineering problems, horrible for watching horror flicks. Zombie dreams are rarely fun, although I have had one where it was just me killing 100's with my bare hands like some ninja warrior |

When they were chasing the girl, she couldn't outrun them... they were right behind her the whole time and Rick had a hard time catching up to them. I laughed my butt off when he fell down the highway embankment A little girl and a zombie made it over the guard rail and down the hill but a trained cop falls on his ass, come on! And it's about time they picked up some blades | |

Guess its a lil late for them to get this... Amazon.com: The Zombie Survival Guide: Complete Protection from the Living Dead (9781400049622): Max Brooks: Books The wife and I have been hooked since the rerun of the first episode last season. We enjoy the zombie flicks. I concur about the blades, quieter and don't require ammo. |

| yeah, there were only 6 episodes the first season. There were only the 6 ordered as AMC wasn't sure how well the series would do. Since it was a massive success and had higher ratings then their award winning shows, AMC ordered a full run for the second season. |

I wouldn't of minded some stray from the books, but its completely off the path where other than names and such, it's really a different story at this point. Fast zombies......bleh, zombies who can open doors or climb over stuff.......bleh. People are still alive in the series who should be dead......certain elements are really what made the story in the comics are completely impossible now in the show.....at this point, its a well produced, directed, etc zombie show, but its not the walking dead in my eyes anymore. I've World War Z....great stuff. Movie is filming now with Brad Pitt, can't wait to see it. Later EddieO |

I love the whole zombie/apocalyptic story line. TWD is a great tv show. I thinks 28 Days Later was a great zombie movie, too. |

TWD episode last night was pretty good! It was a little lacking on action for the first 3/4 of the show, but the story telling was great. The last scenes with Shane and Otis on a supply mission at the local high school was crazy. Overall, good episode and I can't wait for next week!
