Devo Hardcore Vol. 1 & 2 is the best stuff - they weren't even signed yet, just recording themselves in their garage - many of the same songs that were cleaned up for future release. Also, loads of even more politically-incorrect material - hilarious, and rough around the edges - RykoDisc gathered it up and issued it on their label... These tracks were recorded in 1974-1977! Love me some QOTSA - I was watching the previews for Claws on TNT (on Youtube) and Josh Homme was in one of them, hilarious little bit part.... I don't have cable so I don't know if he's in any other scenes. Later EDIT: This morning I have it cranked up on Spotify through my internally bi-amped KRK Rokit 6 G2 studio monitors 2 feet from my head.... SO great!
