La Coka Nostra - Mind Your Business Manic Hispanic - I Got a Right For the record (pun intended) Anyone who likes punk, mostly old school but they cover some newer stuff too...Manic Hispanic is a badass buncha "cholos" that cover punk tunes but add that barrio feel & lyrics. Pretty funny & cool stuff. The bands made up from members of some of the GREATS like The Adolescents, The Grabbers, Punk Rock Karaoke, The X-Members, 22 Jacks, Final Conflitct, Agent Orange, Death By Stereo and The Cadillac Tramps. |

I really need to check this thread out more when home where I have a faster connection (hotel wireless can be sloooowwwwww.......). Some great links provided, thanks guys. I heard a group on a college station while traveling for work (band mentioned a couple times in this thread) called Volbeat. Lead singer has a rather distinctive voice. My favorite tune is "Still counting"... Volbeat - Still Counting - YouTube There are several versions, one has lyrics......sorta fits reading some posts/threads on forums.  Volbeats "A Warriors call" is also decent... Volbeat - A Warrior's Call - YouTube They are a bit different from my normal stuff, but hey, something different is great once in a while.  |
