Yeah. Why use the search engine instead of asking a question that has most likely been answered on rcc? Can I ask two questions? |

Because search engine does not run on gas, use it as much as possible If you were given a chance to become the president of America for a single day, what would you change ? |

I'd probably have welfare monitored much more closely. If you can afford to buy a pack if cigarettes a day you don't need welfare... Why did this thread die? |

It didn't. Jen's fish tank was filled half way. She added 9 gallons of water to the tank and found that it was then 7/8 full. How much water can the tank hold altogether? |

Answer = 24 gallons 7/8 = 0.875 which can be taken as 87.5 % Since it was half filled before Jen added water to the tank, we take the 50% out of 87.5% which gives us 37.5 %. Hence 37.5% is the amount of water that Jen added to the tank which accounts for 9 gallons. If 9 gallons = 37.5% then how much gallons is 50% ? We now divide 50% by 37.5% = 1.33 Hence 50% is equal to 1.33 times that of 9 gallons. So 9 gallons x 1.33 = 12 gallons. Since half filled is 50% = 12 gallons then how much more water is to be added ? Obviously 50% more...so add another 12 gallons which totals to 24 gallons --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you find a pot full of gold in your back yard, what would you do ? Take it inside quietly and tell no one for several years. What would the first thing be that you did if you won the Powerball/Lottery jackpot? |

Pay off my mortgage and any bills as well as close family and friends. Then buy some toys. If you had the chance to completely change the outcome of someones life, who's would it be and what would you do and why would you do it? |
