Default Wallets?

I'm looking to get a new one. My leather wallet was actually my dads and has held up almost 30 yrs. But I work in a lot of dirty conditions, and am constantly moving and its taking a beating. So I've been looking for something more like a case, either out of metal or carbon fiber. Did a google search and found a couple of options but was wondering what some of you might have.

Don't ever change your wallet, you will regret it for life.

Why is that? I love my leather wallet, but its dirty and falling apart. Lol I've even redone some of the stitching so it quit pulling apart. The only metal one I've found that has decent reviews is an Ogon Swedish mad wallet.

I can tell you one thing for sure, the leather of today won't last 30 years!

This sounds like what you are looking for though:

I like the look and feel of leather and the quality of leather these days stinks. Unless you drop a good chunk of $$$! Yea the Ogon is the one I keep finding. You can get them around $38 shipped on Amazon.

I do wish someone would make a carbon fiber case. Thanks!!

It's kinda crazy how the price for those wallets went up when they went from being sony memory stick cases to wallets! I paid about $10 each for both of the ones that I store memory sticks in. I guess it costs about $20 to install a plastic card holding flap in them???

I would be down for a thinner version but made of carbon fiber. Then it would be worth $32 bucks for me

I ended up getting a Fossil front pocket wallet. I don't like to carry a whole bunch of crap in my pockets anyway, but bouncing around on a forklift all day with a normal wallet not only was uncomfortable on my butt cheek, but it scrubbed my check card to pieces.

i'm a fan of the large harley davidson wallets. good quality, and hold up to a lot of abuse. the only reason i replaced my old one is because it had 10 years of combine cleaning and concrete duty under its belt, meaning it was constantly wet and full of all sorts grit and grime. when the original died, it got replaced by something like this minus the chain:

I just carry a money clip in my front pocket. If you have a wallet in your back pocket all the time it han throw your back out.

My wallet is typically in a front pocket. My dad warned me to never use my back pocket for my wallet. Well I ended up getting an Ogon. Maybe I can let ya'll know how it holds up.

This is what I use. Its thin enough that I can carry it in my front pocket. I cant stand having a wallet in my back pocket.

It is nice. Ive carried it for 3 years. I have it and my cellphone in the same pocket. Check it out

Evidently some of y'all thinks it funny to make stupid or unpractical suggestions. I work my butt off every day of the week. I personally do this list on a day to day basis: trim carpentry, paint, concrete, stone work, framing, electrical, & landscaping.

I wish I could get something as simple as a money clip. However I have business cards, credit and debit cards both personal and business. So I was in need of something hard and enclosed. I meant to take a picture of my wallet today so ya'll could see what it typically looks like.

Thanks for some tips and info !

I'm actually in the market myself and I am going to try one of those alum wallets out. They fit in my front pocket so when I'm driving truck i wont have a bulky leather wallet in my back pocket.

Hey man, we must do the same thing...remodeling and property management.

I feel ya, I just shove my reciepts and stuff in my pocket, and business cards in business card holder for your pocket. I have 7 cards and my id in my clip thing, so thats not a problem.... Good luck on the search.
