RC4WD 6X6 Worminator -or- Beast Giving serious thought to one of these. Tough to find any user info on them, good, bad, or otherwise. Watched quite a few videos of them. I love the scale builds of the military trucks. I'm thinking Beast with a Globe Liner cab or a Worminator with a Bruder cab? Anyone have feedback on these or points to consider for what way to go? |
Re: RC4WD 6X6 Worminator -or- Beast Me too RC Bro . I am trying to decide do I want to build 1 or just buy a RTR . Was getting online this morning with a 6x6 on my mind , pen in hand making a build list. Subscribed to see what happens but if not , I will start my list any ways! Was kinda thinking of doing scx 10 axles on mines if I dont hear or see feed back about it. "thumbsup" Got my fingers crossed! |
Re: RC4WD 6X6 Worminator -or- Beast We had the Worminator buggy and well the axles and tranny are absolute garbage. They wouldn't do crap just sit there and click |
Re: RC4WD 6X6 Worminator -or- Beast I don't remember any good stories about the worminator axles, especially the MOA ones, only bad ones. Its too bad as they were a nice design just poorly executed. I looked into getting a pair but the reviews drove me away. |
Re: RC4WD 6X6 Worminator -or- Beast That Beast sure is cool lookin'. I used to have one of the RC4WD Subzero's and wasn't really happy with it.. I mean.. I sold it while it was still brand new. |

I too have heard nothing but bad about the worminators and witnessed some of the carnage, agreed it is a cool design though. |
Re: RC4WD 6X6 Worminator -or- Beast If U got the $$$ the Beast would B the better of the 2. I too am getting the 6x6 fever "thumbsup"<?xml:namespace prefix = v ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:vml" /><v:shapetype id=_x0000_t75 stroked="f" filled="f" path="m@4@5l@4@11@9@11@9@5xe" o:preferrelative="t" o:spt="75" coordsize="21600,21600"><v:stroke joinstyle="miter"></v:stroke><v:formulas><v:f eqn="if lineDrawn pixelLineWidth 0"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum @0 1 0"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum 0 0 @1"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @2 1 2"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @3 21600 pixelWidth"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @3 21600 pixelHeight"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum @0 0 1"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @6 1 2"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @7 21600 pixelWidth"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum @8 21600 0"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @7 21600 pixelHeight"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum @10 21600 0"></v:f></v:formulas><v:path o:connecttype="rect" gradientshapeok="t" o:extrusionok="f"></v:path><?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:lock aspectratio="t" v:ext="edit"></o:lock></v:shapetype>BUT the beast is waaaaaay to much for me :cry:I like the axial 6x6's I've seen in here. Here's the one that got me thinking>>http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/axial...-take-6wd.html The mods would B easy enough to do and the scale is pretty much spot on for my taste. I've been doing some pricing and an axial 6x6 build would be within my budget, IF I HAD ONE:lmao::lmao:The chassis would B the same as knytemares's with a functioning roll back and maybe dual’s on the back 2 axles. The only way I could afford it is to put my custom stretched clod on the market. She's what I call the *Beauty and the Beast*:) because she's BIG she's BADD she's BEAUTIFUL and she's HEAVY! I still haven't been able to bring myself to part with her yet.<o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> |
Re: RC4WD 6X6 Worminator -or- Beast Bondonutz has one, you should PM him. He has a build thread in the 1.9 section. |
