This looks kind of cool, neone know where i can get one?

Well There Wal Mart Or Hpi.

i have a set of drift tires for sale that will bolt on to most touring cars.

basically you just get a peice of pvc pipe that the rims will fit inside of, then jam the rims inside of it, then cut to the right size, then go drifting

Tyco makes cheap ones, Tamiya, HPI and Yokomo make factory drift cars. I'd get whatever TC you can find cheap and get some ABS pipe to make wheels out of, but I'm a cheap fawk.

i dont want a toy!, does anyone have one for sale maybe?, if i decide to build my own what would be the best stuff to start with?, for axles and junk

Just buy a cheap, but decent 4wd touring car and run PVC tires. I run a TC3, now you can pick them up for cheap on ebay. Ive seen guys run tl01s too, but I suggest a car that you can put a one way diff in the front, or get one that already has one installed. It makes a world of difference.

lose the pvc, it's like driving on ice.. if you can, fing yourself some abs pipe.. it's used out west and in mobile homes.. if you are on the east coast you are out of luck, they've outlawed it in most states. i got 6 feet of it from a mobile home supplier in oklahoma (sorry don't remember who) but it was only like 10 bucks incl shipping. i made about 15 sets of tires and sold them for a bucka tire.. made back the investment in a hurry..

Im not that old but i remember the times, its really fun on the highway at 55.

best way to go is spray some armor-all all over a linoleum floor and hit it with any touring car, worked great until dad walked in and slipped and fell on the slick floor...the car slid into the wall and took some paint off a few times also.

I have a Tamiya 415. I got in in a trade, it came with tires from an HPI RTR.

With a Chameleon 2, 102 tooth spur, and a 28 tooth pinion, it'll drift well on asphalt.

You can't throw it into a drift in a straight, but it'll drift through a corner.

groovydrift is awsome.

They just came to Hawaii this weekend, so we had a big event yesterday.

I'd recomend TL-01(it's cheap), bearings, front one-way, & a BL 8.5

Do not use PVC, it sucks. Must use 2" ABS.

That's a very good & fiarly simple set-up.
