how are moderators selected? ive got someone i would like to nominate, if thats even possible. and NO its not myself.

Moderators aren't nominated...they are chosen by a higher power.

well i would like to suggest someone to be a moderator in a brand specific forum that has no official moderator.

They are just chosen by the site admins as needed. There is not a nomination or voting process. Moderators are not always chosen for specific sections, and a mod is mod, they have power throughout the site. So thats why they chose them the way they do.

okay well i think ghtpdm5 would make a good one. he knows his stuff, especially brand specific, but not limited to that by any means. he readily answers any question. about pretty much anything. and its good sound advice. he's very diplomatic in discussions and fair to all parties. i feel he would be a great addition to the moderator crew to keep the site top notch. he's online frequently therefore is readily available for any issues involving the need of resolution. he is dedicated to this site, and all thats involved with it.
