Here's another one PeePee won't get: No more mucking around with the wheels. Added enough backspacing to the Torq-Thrusts to get them under the fenders. Started on an "in-town" exhaust. This will go in the luggage compartment. And added tow hooks front and rear. |

This is one case where the quote "Overkill is under rated" definetly applies.

Well, it's not done but the sun is out, rain's coming, so I took advantage. Enjoy. Phone number is blurred so I don't get calls from random Googlers. The "in-town" exhaust fits nicely in the luggage bin. I was gonna throw out this old bottle of Tamiya Deck Tan because it's getting thick and clumpy. But you know what else is thick and clumpy? Mud. |

What always amazes me with your builds is how FAST you get them built. The level of details are always mind blowing but no one else can do the same level of detail as fast as you do. I could almost smell the mildew from the interior! |

So awesome man. The only thing I usually see on these Super Baja style beetles is the hefty positive rear camber issue they seem to not want to change. |

Let's get some fiddly details now: Since my hood hinge sucks (I can only get the lid open about a half inch before it hits the windshield) I went with a lift-off, and for that you need rubber hold downs. They don't look like much, but the three of 'em took almost 4 hours to make. |

Now with actual Baja bugs... Gotta have the wiper smear The bugs themselves are easier than I thought. Clear green + coffee grounds. The paint is still wet in the pics, it will flatten out when it dries, just like a dead bug. |

Wait, I ain't done yet! Thought I'd try my hand at some more functional stuff: Sun visor (action is a bit stiff, but it does work) This one's tricky. Start by popping out the wing windows, trimming the frame and drilling holes in the door frame. Use the window as a template to make a frame. CA the brass rod to the frame and trim off the bits you don't need. Glue the glass back in. Not shown is the .040 quarter-round on the inside. Install by bending the assembly to line up the brass rod with the holes. Congratulate your self and then realize you have to do the other side now. |

I have some BOW WOW is for volkswagons stickers if you want Stu(scale size). I dont know if they were a popular franchise on the east coast, but they were up here in the PNW. LMK |
