Just seen this, Awesome work. Also brings back memories, my buddy growing up had one about the same color blue as that interior and the same white fiberglass baja kit. Again Awesome job!

Sometimes less is more. In this case...



... one less trim ring. A little damage done getting it off, but it's in character so it stays. One of the advantages of building a beat-up model.

And no Baja is complete without an EMPI sticker. (good call, Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude!)

I think I'm gonna call it done now. It's getting dangerously close to junker territory and I don't want it towed away by the civic authorities.

Another advantage - you can build it fast as shit and when someone points out things that could've been done better you can say "It's supposed to be that way - it's a beater."

Cool build, but it's lookin' rough.

Holy damn, Stu. I haven't lurked this board for a few months and I sure did miss your work. You build the beautifullist crap I've ever seen!

Awesome.

FWIW, I prefer the VW wide-5 in the rear, but it's probably too late for that.
