I heard about it back when they announced their 1:1 sponsorship. Could have sworn it was supposed to be out by now, guess they had some delays.

I keep hearing rumors that they have a solid rear axled, front ifs (slash 4x4) KOH style truck coming out at some point. Thats going to be their "crawler".

I can see the DTS system being much more popular than the funny car. Lots of people drag race with whatever rc they have. The timing system will just make it that much more convenient.

The car itself is neat, but a one-trick pony. Unless it's priced really reasonably, I don't see it being a hot seller, but rather a niche rc car. I don't mind that it's electric. It has suspension as well. Sacrifices have to be made when making rc versions. That, plus a nitro engine really doesn't smell or sound like the 1:1 version. Put a sound system in it instead you whiners

It's priced and listed at Great Hobbies, the car is $499 and the DTS-1 system is $199. Of course in the states it'll be a little bit cheaper.

I've wanted an RC Drag car for ages but I get confused with all the wheelbase & class specs.
No one up here races them so I'll only have it to do the odd run down at our local track. I'm lucky I have very good access to a world class track here in Darwin
I won't need the Traxxas timing system I gotta full size Compulink system to play with so I can't wait.

That's with out a radio & other accessories to complete the car!

I'm looking at the Traxxas Funny car as my entry into RC Drag racing as I'm sure many will.

It wasn't that long ago that RC Crawling was a serious DIY hobby that was brought into the mainstream by Axial.
If it wasn't for the AX-10 I wouldn't be enjoying scale RC like I am today

I've been waiting for something like this for a long time! There is a toggle switch on the Tx that lets you do a burnout! Will prob just leave lil' dust piles of rubber but still way F'n Cool!
