Now that's silly. Limited appeal and a small audience means low sales numbers?

I bet the small community of RC drag racing fans are either very happy, or possibly not because they liked it not popular.

I wonder how well it will do in sales and performance.

I can agree with that but I think it is badass and I will buy one as long as it doesn't come with the 1000$ + price tags the xo1 does :roll:

Now I really need to finish my camaros up, might be able to find some competition :twisted:

In this case, a nitro engine would have been more scale. Noise and smell. And eye-watering fumes.

Not faster, but more authentic. I dig it anyway.

If Traxxas is going after niche markets like this, can a crawler be far behind?

i can imagine some cmo or whoever needing to validate the nhra sponsorship and not giving a darn about sales.

id probably buy it. i totally will buy the lights. i would so use those for mud drags or even tractor pulls.

As for the funny car, meh. Would be much cooler with a nitro engine and an adjustable 3 speed trans. They sound cool when r/c nitros shift.

Yeah, nitro would have been good. Maybe next time, and then they can do the better version with the bigger motor.

Using the radio with the iPhone and App would have been cool.

That DTS system will probably be a hit though. Drag racing has gotten popular around here. Not so much scale drag cars but 1/10 scale SC trucks and some sedan stuff. With a true scale drag kit now I believe it will catch on more.

I Rc drag race. I'd buy one to bracket race . If its 1/8 it prob has a greater wb than 14 inch . So you'd have to run it in bracket. 70 mph or so top end in 132 feet is slow . My 11 inch 2 s outlaw 1.05 car has been 1.5's at over 90 mph. If it were a nitro drive line car would be cool . No 2 or 3 SPd tranny. No time to shift in 132 feet. You'll get beat. Bashing ,it would be ok. But that's a lot of vht and sugar water , for a bash session.

I figured they would have something like this out since they sponsor Courtney. If it's not too expensive then this might actually be a Traxxas that I buy.

Doubt if it'll ever happen. When was the last time you saw them release a product for a market that was already saturated?

Traxxas is a great company with very durable products! Being a speed freak also I would have to get one,depending on the the price of course.
