I'm dealing with the same thing right now, here's what I'm finding: The people interviewing me are usually much younger than me with very little practical experience about the actual job that I'm interviewing for. Don't talk 'down' to them or try to impress them with knowledge that they don't comprehend, just answer their (sometimes) ridiculous questions with a smile and move on to the next question.

Congrats. Study hard for that test. LOL..

The messed up thing about interviews, every interview that I thought I did horrible, I was given a job offer.
EVERY one that I walked out of with confidence, NOTHING. Seriously a perfect record to date.

Guess it says something for being humble...

I was the same way with tests, so I can relate to that. I always figured the ones I was super stressed about were the ones I probably spent more time preparing for, or felt my previous experience and knowledge should lead to a high score.

And congrats on the job!

Drug test = passed with flying colors.

Physical = tough but passed.

Start training on the 5th and my new job on the 7th.

Wish me luck.

Packed up my old jobs service truck today and took it to the old yard. Had to stand there a bit and say my goodbyes.

Now it's a whole new grind tomorrow. Starting this new job.

Eye contact is important. Keep your answers as short as possible, but don't just yes or no everything. If asked to give an example, don't use one that requires a massive story. If you need to use a story for an example, pick a short one.

Don't cuss or use slang....

Don't fidget with your hands, fingers, etc.

Try to smile.......people don't like dead serious assholes, so try not to look like one.
