RCC Intro: 3D Animation
 

Here's an animation I've been working on, in my spare time, since October.
Jason saw a post I made about 3d in the Cool Pictures thread (I think) and asked if I'd be interested in doing a video intro.
I said sure, as long as there's no deadline!
I think he was thinking something much simpler in the beginning but once I told him the concept, he was on board.
So 7 months latter:

Ha, that's sweet. What are they going to be using it for mostly? Does RCC have videos they do themselves to put this at the front of?

Yup, a video intro... I'm not sure if it's just web videos or DVD stuff too.
I rendered it out at Full HD so it can be used for any application. "thumbsup"

yup, Full HD... the file is several gigabytes!

I am blown away by how awesome this turned out way beyond my expectations. Everytime I was sent a little bit of it to look at I had to watch it 5 or 6 times. I guess now I am going to have to go out and shoot some more videos.

and yeah, he now has the perma gold star.
