I have seen vids of a lot of abandoned supercars in the ME..too much $$ to truly appreciate the things..what a shame.

Honestly, supercars are ridiculously overpriced. Lately I see prices in the range of 4 million USD + and that is plain loot.... but people with so much money that its hard for them to spend would never care.

Yes, it's in the eye of the beholder as to what is a reasonable amount to spend on something..many would shudder at how much I could spend on audio gear..could put a million dollar system together easy..if I won a lottery

I doubt it's a little bump that causes a car tuned specifically to be driven at thos speeds to lose control. I think the more likely scenario is people with little to no driving skills, but big bank accounts get bitten by a car they had no business driving in the first place. Hence why it's almost impossible to buy a modern supercar with no electronic assists and a true 3 pedal manual gearbox. It's a battle between car engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof cars, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning.

A friend of mine works for a shop that works on everything from half dead crap boxes to cars like that Diablo. I don't know how many times I've heard him say that if he ever one the lotto, he'd just restore his Crown Vic Police Intercepter, or at least buy a newer second hand cop car.

High end cars can be a headache..my bud has an AMG bi-turbo Benz..nice ride, shitload of HP..600-ish, but having problem with the driveline after doing doughnuts..had both front axles replaced,,10g's now still getting some vibration in the front end..looking at more..he said 20G's maybe to redo it all.
Figures he is going to sell it when it's fixed and buy a Yota..something that you can beat on and it begs for more.
Me I'm happy with my Buick Regal..I'd do it up real nice if I had a windfall..fawk the supercars.
