That's a new one for me... that's an old Eaton full float, in a newer generation K-truck. Think of it like a Ford 9", but with a removeable diff cover, and full-floating hubs. If that truck has a fixed-yoke transfercase, it could be driven around in front wheel drive with no ill effects.

I might just have to steal that idea, would make a funny looking trailer axle, and give me matching 8 lug hubs on the cheap!

I think you would have to cut and reweld all the suspension tabs. At that point it might just be easier to weld in a piece of straight tube in place of the pumpkin.

Quickest pic that I could borrow from the webz.. Stupidly strong rear axle, complete overkill for the light duty trucks that it came under.

There are 15 questions on Tower's product page for the Proline KO2s, 14 of them are people that don't know it isn't a full size tire.

After 26 years in the service industry, I've learned that the ones that aren't just plain stupid don't bother to read things. Doesn't seem to matter what the walk of life either

I wasnt really sure where to put this, but the other night I was telling a friend how when I was a todler driving with my parents I would see a truck I would start saying Twuck Twuck Twuck over and over until my parents acknowledged it (or so I was told). So my friend suggested that would make a cool vanity plate and I agreed.

Later I asked my dad if this truck fixation was because of his truck and it turned out he didnt even have a truck at the time so I'm not sure where it came from. It took a great deal of time for me to get back into Twucks again.
