A lot of those teeth look like bison teeth , but its hard to tell size from the pics. Bison teeth are usually about 3-4 inches long. Fossils are definitely cool to find, here in Iowa you don't want to get caught doing it most places or they will confiscate your findings.

Wayyyyyy cool thread! I took the family to Wyoming a couple of years ago to dig for fossils. We've still got a lot of slabs that we haven't split up yet that contain tons of fossilized fish. I did find a stingray fossil but had to turn it in to the property owners (as part of the deal they give you the chance to buy it at 1/2 price of what they normally charge, when which I asked they said $900 - I passed on it.) I'll get some pics of some of the stuff when I get home. Those teeth are freaking amazing. |

Yep, I'm going to be that douche who brings up a year old thread, but oh well! I've always been into collecting fossils, here's my newest acquisition. Mastodon jaw, I made the stand. The last picture was when I got it, took many hours of prep to clean the pyrite off the teeth! it's about 25" long, weighs around 27 lbs.

Real Cool, I always have my eyes peeled when I'm walking around. A few farmers dug this up not far from my house. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DmHk-QO9R2A |

Braceysdad, I used the stabilizer made by PaleoBond. Here's a new one, got it from a friend of mine who found it diving in north florida, a TOE bone from a giant ground sloth, Eremotherium. It was larger than both the mammoth and mastodon, largest land mammal that lived in Florida, there was one skeleton found in south Florida, that had a 23" claw, most of the skeleton is still in plaster jackets, but there's a large chance it is the largest land mammal found in the western hemisphere.
