Default Ford Courier...

since I'm doing these for FREE at the moment I would like to get your input. Thanks and I'm glad you all liked the dodge.

This is Sybirs Ford Courier. So far this is the worst body to trim and took a little longer than the others.

Again I can't stress the camera sucks not me.

I had a hard time getting the pinstriping to show up with this camera so these are 4 of the 12 that I took.

I knew I forgot something. I should have put it on the VS chassis

This one I used pactra for the whole thing. I picked up three Cheepo airbrushes from Harbor Frieght on sale for $4.99. http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=47791

I plan on getting a better one sooner than later and use these for the big parts. I'm thinking Iawata (sp), badger or something. Been watching ebay for good deals.

On the dodge I used Createx. They are waterbased and I can pick them up at Michaels crafts. They have some nice colors and transparents. I still can't afford House of Color paints or Spaztix

I have this one http://airbrushcity.com/1102.htm . I like it quite a bit but, I haven't used any others so i can't really compare. I got in one of their combo kits that came with hose and a mini compressor. Their service is pretty good as well.

Double J I have an iwata hpc, I had a badger 150 before that, both are double action, and the iwata is much much nicer, the extra $$ is worth it. Your work is getting better and better! Looks like I need to step it up

I still have a long ways to go yet. I have to learn how to shadow and need to steer away from taping everything. I'm thinking of working with a local sign shop to make masks for me. It would be better than using the liquid mask, even though I haven't used it just seams like a lot of work and I'll get better edges with vinyl masking.
I like to get some advice from some good painters on shadowing and stuff. This is only the 3rd body that is done and the 3rd time I've use the airbrush.

hahahahaha.
It still wasn't dried yet. That's why the windo masks are on. I finished at lunch now I'll have a hard time cleaning my brush cause I didn't have time to do when I finished.

How many hours does it take you? X10= what you should charge. And as you get better you will get quicker and that will start to pay for all the material costs.

Lookin really good, I'm really impressed that that's your third one. Awesome job for just starting, and even if you had been doing it for a long time too.
