The beginning of tonight's dinner. I'm lighting the fire and having a beer the dogs are having a standoff food prep going on inside ... to be continued. freshly made gaucamole was great! Salmon hit the grill then turkey burgers with serrano peppers, onion, garlic and spices oh shit I'm full... the wife wants us to be healthy and I want flavor! It all works out in the end. | Re: Food/Cooking Man, I went to the store after work to get charcoal and beer and while in line with a 12 of Sierra Nevada Torpedo I remembered I didn't have an ID on me because I got a speeding ticket after our comp last Sunday and I haven't been able to locate my State ID... So I put the 12 back, called Susan and asked her to get me hoppy beer. She picked up a 6 of Bell's Two Hearted Ale... not bad but I was looking for more hops tonight. Now it's time for some wrenching, beer drinking and Wrath of the Titans while the wife takes a nap before her overnight at her 2nd job... she's pretty tough and I'm pretty lucky. I'm surprised that Jason hasn't chimed in yet, some of his 'what's for dinner' threads have me wanting to try new things, as well as some of the dishes I've seen in this thread. Next weekend I'm steaming up some fresh blue crabs so I'll do a step-by-step instructional in here. |

tried out this Korean burger joint down the street, Bop n Grill, turned out they were on Diners Drive-ins and Dives Kimchi burger (was pretty good) Fish sandwich Kimchi cheese fries with bacon (very good but too much Kimchi) next time I'm getting the b n g burger, thousand island and jalapeno were 2 of the toppings... yum. |
