Default What Is This?

Saw it on CL under farm & garden and thought it was pretty cool. Was wondering if its homemade or something manufactured?

They are made by Suzuki. Typically found over seas but I have seen quite a few here in the states.

They drive those around the zoo. Mini work trucks before the popularization of the modern side by side

Funny, they all look very similar, the ones I've seen locally are Mitsubishis.

My understanding is they are not road legal in the States. Forget why. Maybe lack of required safety features.

They make a van version also.

Not street legal. They dont meet safety requirements.

ones i looked at and have drove at work are governed to like 30. But the speedos all say 80ish..

Once your in one you dont really want to drive it on the road.

some states and areas in states have adopted "slow vehicle" regulations that do allow them by special permit.

Yeah but I'd be driving all over the place in it, 4 lane highways included. It'd look a little funny to be doing 70 with a big orange triangle bolted to the back.

Those things are cool. A lot of hunters down here are using them instead of ATVs because they are enclosed, have heating and AC, have a windshield, a bed for whatever you have shot, and another seat for a friend or whoever. Not only that but they have a solid rear axle, and a whole range of transfer case options. A local offroad shop builds these for hunters, and they are pretty cool. They make a 2 inch lift for them and they run ATV wheels and tires. Very cool little rigs
