Default My ZipZap Monster truck

Ok I felt lonely not having an rc truck so I went out and bought one at radio shack for $10. I got it home and it wasn't bad but didn't have enough torque so I added another gear to gear it down. It also wouldn't flex really at all so I cut it in half and now it really flexs.

I was able to drive over pretty much what ever I could find but it got old quick. Well after thinking about it for awhile I figured I could make a smaller sized track for it that I could stuff under a couch or something. I found some plywood that I had laying around and found some foam board I had for a gecko tank and started a layout. Once I was happy with my setup I covered it in that plaster of paris paper stuff then rattle canned it with some neat paint I found at HD. All in all I'm happy with how it turned out and I only spent $9 on it all together that was just in the paint(but it was worth it)

thanks, it only took a few hours to do and most of that time was spent waiting for it to dry enough to start something else

Looks good, I thought those tracks were so hard, until I met Joe, off scale4x4, lol He told me that it just takes time, and patience. He does it like this tho
PolyStyrene
Plaster Cloth
Painting with a brush,
Grass from HO scale scenery, TRAINS,
other HO scale scenery off sites, local railroad places/ he got his all on trademe (New Zealand mate!)

He is going to make me a _ _ _ _ 1/_7 for only 300 + mini lipos + charger
How do you like your track? You did a very well job, but you should make some roads, rock piles, he makes his own mini rocks, you should do that, very awesoem still!

yeah I'm going to add to it as far as some scenery this is just a starting point. I like it alot so far, definatly worth the time and money. I'm going to do my 1/32 slot car track next and see how I can get it to look.
